What better way to spend New Years Day than recovering under the elms in the Victorian Country side at one of Victoria’s oldest Picnic Race meeting. Pack up a picnic hamper or support a community group by buying their product, but make the effort to get to this picnic race day. A two hour trip from Melbourne; a half hour from Mansfield, Yea, Alexandra and Euroa. V-Line has a bus service from Melbourne to Mansfield that stops at Merton.
